Explanation of PC and NS modes
NS (Nintendo Switch) mode - acts like a Switch PRO controller and connects over bluetooth or a wired connection.
PC (Personal Computer) mode - acts like an XBOX 360 controller and connects to the included USB dongle or works over a wired connection.
Connecting controller
- PC setup with wireless USB dongle
- Ensure the controller mode is in "PC" position
- Insert the USB dongle into an open USB A port on your PC
- Press the button on the dongle after which the dongle LED will blink rapidly
- Press and hold the home button on the controller for 5 seconds
- The controller will vibrate and the LED indicator will turn solid green
- PC setup with USB cable
- Ensure the controller mode is in "PC" position
- Connect controller to your PC using the included USB C to USB A cable or any standard USB C to USB A (or USB C to USB C) cable that supports data and power
- The controller will automatically connect and the LED indicator will continue blinking slowly
- PC setup with Bluetooth (requires Steam)
- This has only been tested on the Steam gaming platform using official steam games or non-steam games that were added to steam.
- Ensure the controller mode is in "NS" position.
- The controller will work in either position but it will still use the switch profile and cause issues if you use "PC" mod
- Enter pairing mode on the controller by holding the screenshot button and the home button until the home button starts flashing at a faster rate
- On your PC go to bluetooth devices and add pair the "Pro Controller"
- The controller will vibrate and the LED indicator will turn solid purple
- You can now use the controller on steam as if it was a Switch Pro Controller
- NOTE Analog trigger mode does not work in this mode only linear
- Switch setup with USB cable
- Ensure the controller mode is in "NS" position
- Turn Pro controller wired communication on in the System settings > Controllers and Sensors
- Connect controller to your switch dock using the included USB C to USB A cable or any standard USB C to USB A cable that supports data and power
- The controller will automatically connect and the LED indicator will continue blinking slowly
- Wireless Switch setup
- Ensure the controller mode is in "NS" position
- Go to Change grip/order on the Switch menu
- Press and hold the home button for 3 seconds
- The controller will vibrate and the LED indicator will turn solid purple

My mapped turbo buttons are unknown and controller becomes unusable after hitting turbo, requires power off to undo.
Anyone know a reset?
