BLU Vivo 5 Mini Troubleshooting
BLU Vivo 5 Mini released January 2017
Phone is not holding charge if charger is plugged in.
Phone may have internal damage near the battery or battery may need replacement.
Start by double checking to see if the charger is compatible with the device, not faulty, and plugged in correctly. If nothing is wrong with the charger but the phone is still not charging, then this is a sign that there may be problem inside the phone. Open the device to ensure that there are no debris or water damage inside or near the battery. After removing the battery and placing it back in, close the device before plugging the charger back in. If errors still occur the next step is to replace the battery using this guide.
Phone Shutting Off
Device is randomly shutting off then follow these troubleshooting steps before advancing to the replacement guide.
Power button may have debris causing it to stick or battery may not be getting a good connection.
Start by examining if the power button is having issues sticking within the phone.
Next examine if the battery life is still at a sustainable level to power the device, and is making a good connection.If phone is still randomly shutting down proceed to the repair guide for the power button and or replacement of the battery.
Audio sounds muffled or unclear.
The speaker in the device is obstructed or damaged.
Start by checking to be sure that audio is playing and the volume level is set to an appropriate level. Next visually inspect the speaker from the outside of the device to make sure there is nothing obstructing the speaker and blow it out with compressed air. If the phone has recently come into contact with water allow ample time to fully dry as water can greatly affect the quality of sound. If you are still experiencing poor audio quality refer to speaker replacement in the repair guide.
Camera has spots in lens creating blurry-ness.
Debris found within the lens.
First clean an examine lens for any cracks or chips. If it is cracked or chipped you will more than likely need a replacement. Next disassemble phone to inspect that there is no left over debris or water near the screen. If camera is still not working see repair guide on how to replace the camera lens.
SIM Card Problems
SIM card not reading.
Faulty available space or sim card.
First check to see that the sim card has available space and is reading correctly. Next is to open the sim card port and see if it is inserted properly and free of debris. While it is out blow the port out with compressed air to clear any micro debris. If that does not correct the problem replace sim card .
