Camera won't turn on ¶ 

No matter what you do, you can't get your camera to turn on

The ON/OFF switch is stuck ¶ 

The ON/OFF switch can get stuck. Make sure it is pressed all the way up.

Drained/bad battery ¶ 

If your camera won't turn on, change your batteries and see if that fixes the problem. AA batteries can be purchased from most stores.

Broken Button ¶ 

The ON/OFF button may be broken. or circuitry connecting to the button. For help replacing the ON/OFF switch consult the guide here.

Blurry image ¶ 

Pictures aren't clear

Unfocused ¶ 

The subject that you are trying to capture may not be in the center of your view. Cameras focus on what's in the middle of their field. Try taking another picture with the subject at the focal point.

Changed zoom too fast ¶ 

You may have changed your zoom faster than your camera could keep up with the focus. Try re-zooming in on your subject a little slower.

Broken lens ¶ 

Parts of the lens may have broken. If you are turning the lens but the focus isn't changing, it may be a simple fix such as changing the plastic part. If the zoom does change as you turn the lens, the lens are faulty and will need to be replaced.

Camera not taking pictures ¶ 

Pictures are not capturing or not showing up on memory card

Memory full ¶ 

Your memory card may be full. To free up memory space, consider downloading your pictures onto your computer using the USB cord, or deleting unwanted pictures and videos. If your memory card fills up too often, consider upgrading to a larger memory card or buying a back up one.

Button not working ¶ 

You may not be able to record pictures and videos because your camera doesn't know to! The button might be broken and needed to be replaced.

Camera not recording videos ¶ 

Videos are not capturing or not showing up on memory card

Memory full ¶ 

Memory card may be full. Free up memory space by either downloading your pictures onto your computer using the USB cord or deleting unwanted pictures and videos. If your memory card fills up too often, consider upgrading to a larger memory card or buying a back up one.

Button not working ¶ 

You may not be able to record pictures and videos because your camera doesn't know to! The button might be broken and needed to be replaced.

Sound not playing/muffled ¶ 

Unsatisfactory or no sound is coming from the device

Speakers dirty ¶ 

Dirt or dust may have gotten into the device through the speaker holes. Using a needle, toothpick, and/or Q-tips, clean the outside of the device.

Broken speakers ¶ 

The speakers may be damaged and internal work needs to be done. Consult the speaker replacing guide here.
