Answer to: Horizontally Split Display ProblemI had a similar problem with my Medion MD96420 which was 3 months out of warranty. However, with a little research and talk around the office it appears that there is a problem with the video card whereby over time the heat weakens some of the solder joints and affects the video card performance. I contacted Medion support, provided proof of purchase and sent the laptop to them. After about 3 weeks it arrived back in perfect working order. That was just on 12 months ago and it has not missed a beat since. Before it was repaired I found that if I left it off for about 12 hours, when I restarted it would be ok for quite a while until it heated up and did the split screen thin again.
