Answer to: brown tab of the headphone ribbon cable connectorThank you!! I had the ribbon taped down before with black electrical tape and it wasn't working. I retaped it down with the same tape and it's working. If I push the headphone plug down in the jack all the way, only one earpiece works, but if I pull the jack out a little, they both work. I think I might need to play around and get a better connection with the ribbon. Thanks for your help!!
