Answer to: Replaced Hard Drive, now Mac isn't finding it!I would try to re-seat the drive in the bay. Make sure its pushed all the way back. If that doesn't work then... I have had some issues with new drives not being recognized by macs. If that happens I usually throw them in a linux box and dd zero the drive out. (I guess osx is unix so it should have the dd command) I then either leave it unformatted or format it to fat32 or something. Most of the time the mac will pick it up at that point and I am able to format it in HFS+. I would also check the SMART status and see if that has any errors, might be DOA drive.

(1) The early 2008 model came with a micro-dvi connection (I have this model) (1) The late 2008/early 2009 to present have the Mini Display port. If you have a output display adapter you can hook it up to an external display and check the system configuration.
