To make sure you pick out the right RAM, click on the Apple in the upper right corner and select about my mac. It will say 1GB (or however much you have) DDR2 667 or DDR2 533. Answer to: Hard disk replacement - battery removal required?Just for safety reasons, you should disconnect the battery. It won't hurt the computer or your settings, and you won't run the risk of shorting something out.
