Answer to: Why don't my key presses respond right away? This is very difficult to diagnose via the Internet. I can tell you for sure that the dual booting has nothing to do with your problem (unless you are booted in Ubuntu and/or playing a game through WINE in Ubuntu). I'll make the assumption the problem occurs only in Vista and not just in the game. If it also happens in Ubuntu then it's likely a hardware problem with your keyboard. If the problem is only present in the game then your computer may have just gotten cluttered to the point that it can no longer handle the game. (3) Keyboard software may need an update or may need to be removed because it is causing the problem (Logitech, etc). (4) Examine Windows updates that happened in that time frame that may have done something strange to cause this because something had...
Answer to: Can I upgrade my laptop to a 64 bit processor? It looks like your laptop (product page) might have these processors: (1) Mobile AMD Sempron™ 3200+/3500+ (1.6/1.8 GHz, 512 KB L2 cache) (2) Mobile AMD Sempron™ 3400+/3600+ (1.8 GHz/2.0 GHz, 256 KB L2 cache) According to Wikipedia AMD Mobile Processors your processor has AMD64 technology, which is 64 bit. So if you have 64 bit Windows 7 your processor DOES support the 64 bit OS, but like Ralph said you may have driver issues. Upon further investigation if you check out the downloads page for your model they have placed a nice red 'X' in respect to Windows 7 support. You could try downloading the latest drivers anyway to see if that fixes any of your issues.
