I contacted JBL support, and they had me reset the device, then drain the battery, then charge it to full and it solved my under an hour battery life issue! Also it seems JBL has a 5 year warranty. UPDATE: Yes they only have a one year warranty I was mistaken, also the reset didn’t actually solve my problem at all. However, as a courtesy, they replaced my JBL Xtreme free of charge, just because I asked nicely I guess? New one has been working great, I’ve decided not to leave it plugged in all the time as I am concerned that perhaps that may have been the cause of the problem.
