Hello, my name is Kellen Fulkerson. I'm a former English Education major-turned Computer Science major-turned Professional Writing major. I've studied programming, the English language and education and have been at EWU for several years now. I'm currently in the process of transitioning to an online university and moving to Seattle to focus on work while I study due to the lack of opportunities available here in Cheney. Along with a decent understanding of language and programming I have experience drawing and playing music. I've also on one occasion designed and made a guitar mostly from scratch and spare parts from Radio Shack. I have a basic knowledge of tools and their uses from the time I've spent both making a guitar and repairing it along with the other guitars I own when it has been necessary. I am also dependable when it comes to doing proper research and documentation which I would say is my strongest attribute.
We have a chance to guarantee our right to repair electronic
equipment—like smartphones, computers, and even farm equipment. This is a once-in-a-generation
chance to protect local repair jobs—the corner mom-and-pop repair shops that
keep getting squeezed out by manufacturers.
Join the cause and tell your state representative to support Right to Repair. Tell them you believe repair should be fair, affordable, and accessible. Stand up for your right to repair!
