Answer to: Why won't my flash pop up?Your flash assembly piece will not always pop up if its supporting screws are loose. To fix this possible loose screw problem, you need to locate and tighten them with a screw driver. Manually pop open the flash assembly with a toothpick, or like tool, and then tighten the supporting screws on the left and right sides of the flash assembly. If your flash assembly still fails to pop up, check out the following troubleshooting page for more help.
Answer to: Why does my camera randomly shut down?Sometimes your camera may shut down due to a malfunctioning power supply. Remove the batteries from your camera for 30 seconds, put them back, and then see if that solves your problem. If the issue continues, try replacing the batteries all together. If your camera still turns off frequently, it might be suffering from an overheating problem. That can progress into further issues, so you should check out the overheating section of this troubleshooting page. It also address different problems that may occur with your specific camera.
