Either way, you may have to do some work inside your speaker to fix your problem. Please refer to the replacement guides to help you.
Answer to: How do I replace the waterproof cap?Reconnecting the cap is a simple fix. Take a pointed object, like a screwdriver or pencil, and apply force on the mushroom shaped end to push it back into the device. Unfortunately, if the mushroom end is no longer attached to the cap, then the cap cannot be reattached. If this is the case, the speaker should not be used near water, but it can still be used as a regular wireless speaker.
