Answer to "iPod won't power on after screen replacement, even when plugged in"I've learned to fix the IPod maybe waste your time. Most of the situations you need lucky to get your pod back to life, it doesn't matter you try with new replacement parts.. Someone wrote above its a woodo and I completely agree :)
Answer to "iPod won't power on after screen replacement, even when plugged in"Otherwise, what can I do if I get white screen? I tried the shortening trick, its worked but whenever I put the middle frame back the Ipod wont power up. Now its power on but with White screen. The other functions works great. Is it possible the LCD slot damaged on the motherboard or the LCD cable?
Answer to "iPod won't power on after screen replacement, even when plugged in"Hi everybody. I had the same problem. Replaced my broken screen, wanted to turn on the Ipod, unfortunately nothing happened. I read lot of suggestion an experience here and I decided to try the ground trick. I afred of this (maybe the logic board will burn out) and I only put out the middle metal plate (the large, between the LCD and the Battery) Turn on the Ipod in this position, and shows connect to charge. I plugged it to the PC, and now it's charging and looks working. ;)
