Hi, I’m Michael! I’m responsible for all the videos you see on the iFixit YouTube channel. I joined iFixit way back in 2009 as a customer service representative and soon shifted gears, putting to work my nearly 10 years of experience in video production by helping start the iFixit YouTube channel with Kyle and Luke, the owners of the company.
Since then, I’ve interviewed tons of fixers, worked with lots of great people, taken apart hundreds of devices—and fixed just as many!
You can check out all the work I do over at our YouTube channel:

Answer to "Display is detecting touch input without anything happening?"This happens a lot when the cable is damaged during the repair, check to see if your cable has been pinched or damaged. If you don’t see anything you might have a defective display. I'd suggest getting a replacement display assembly from the place you bought yours.
Answer to "Why does my iPod say very low Battery?"Hi Mallory Assuming that your new battery is good and is connected properly you may need to put your iPod into disk mode, https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201544 , then connect it to a wall charger. This can sometimes fix this issue. If it doesn't you may want to double check the batteries connection just to make sure it is seated properly.
