Hi Brian! I'm sorry to hear about your phone. My guess is that there's sand still blocking the port and/or that it needs more time to dry out. I've submerged my S7 edge in a bathtub and it took 2 days for the speakers to sound clear and about a day and a half for the charging port to function again. In the meantime, I used wireless charging. To clean out any remaining sand, I'd use a can of compressed air (be sure to keep it upright). If you've cleaned it out sufficiently and are confident you dried it out as much as possible, there's a chance the charging port was damaged to the point of needing repaired. We do sell the Galaxy S7 edge charging daughter board which can revive your port but fingers crossed it just needs a little more time to recoup. If you do end up repairing it, keep in mind the phone will no longer be waterproof once breaking the adhesive seal ;( Good luck!
Hi Brendan! Sorry to hear about your iPhone but I'm happy to hear you're looking to repair it. It sounds like the LCD was damaged during the incident. It's possible the cable was knocked out of place but more likely, the LCD is bad. I recommend buying the 5c Display Fix Kit to revive your LCD. It's a relatively easy repair and you can continue rocking your 5c.
Hi Austin, sorry to hear about your spill! It sounds like the water may have damaged some internal components. The screen your Mac is booting to appears when the computer cannot successfully connect to the trackpad or internal keyboard. Aside from taking off your lower case and physically examining both the trackpad & keyboard liquid sensors, I'd recommend using an external mouse/keyboard to see if you can get past the boot screen. If you see tripped sensors on the trackpad, logic board or any other internal parts, you'll likely want to replace them. If the external components (trackpad/keyboard) don't work and you don't find any tripped sensors, I'd take it into a repair shop to have some diagnostics run on it. Good luck!
It's quite possible the backlight on the LCD went out. If you power down the phone, turn it on, hold it under a bright light and see a faint Apple logo, the backlight went out. If that's the case, you'll need to order another display. Best of luck!

Sounds like a bad digitizer Shea! It's possible the connection is bad though - try cleaning the pins conservatively with rubbing alcohol and reattaching the cable. Because these connections are wider than their predecessors, I connect one side at a time and then press the middle down last to hear the faint snap. If you're confident in the connection, I'd order a replacement!
