Answer to: Why are my tiresIt's very likely that it's related to the transmission or the drive belt, not the tires. Here's some more info: http://www.mytractorforum.com/14-craftsman-sears-forum/215651-craftsman-yts-3000-wont-move.html (1) Check the clutch/brake travel. Are you sure you don't have the parking brake set when you are checking belt tension? (2) Do you have the little finger thingy sticking out of the rear plate that allows you to push by hand. Is that out or in? (3) It's possible that the pivot for the tensioner has rusted up, if it's been sitting. Getting under and eyeballing it should tell you.
