Hello! My name is Cassandra Shedden. I am a sophomore at Embry Riddle Aeronautical University with a major in Engineering Physics and a minor in Unmanned Aircraft Systems Applications.

I chose this major because of my aspiration to become an astronaut to further our understanding of the universe and/or work in an aerospace company. I have always been interested in studying and traveling the universe. I want to live a life that challenges me and pushes me to the max. I am a very hard worker and passionate about my dreams. I enjoy focusing on my school work and how I can turn these skills into a job for life. I also played volleyball for 10 years so I have great teamwork ability and a strength in communication. I worked at an aluminum can plant over the summer and learned the process of making different sized cans by studying the design and engineering that goes behind each machine. Currently, I work at the Student Union as a welcome desk assistant. I have improved my customer service skill immensely and also increased my problem solving ability.

I do not have much experience with repair guides and rebuilding objects but I am more than willing to try any project and learn more engineering related terms and tools.
