Answer to: Logic board schematics and testing procedures neededDid you examine the capacitors on the logic board to make sure none of them are busted? Look for swollen or bent caps. Thats about all the advice I can add
Answer to: Why does LED brightness decrease with temperature? It is true. I did a Chemistry experiment, where we poured Liquid Nitrogen on LEDs and they would get brighter (due to lack of resistance induced by temperature). Putting LEDs in boiling water made them dimmer. Obviously neither of those things will (hopefully) not happen to a Move Controller, but thats why it changes in brightness.
Answer to: xbox Red Blinking LightI looked around and found some guys discussing the blink codes for an Xbox on 2005, so they are most likely discussing the first Xbox. (1) Solid red, overheated. (2) Flashing green, bad bios load. (3) Flashing red-orange, bad video output (4) Flashing red-green, system faliure (can be alot of things) Here was where I found the thread if you wanted to read through their discussion. As long as its not flashing red and green, it would be safe to assume your Xbox is overheating.
Answer to: Number of problems with my PSP 1000.You might be able to solve the D-Pad issue with the PSP Button Guide. It is a really old hand console, so the battery should be dying by now. Unless you found another battery, it'll need to be cabled to the wall. Maybe try dusting out the joystick when you go in to clean up the D-pad buttons and see if that works?
