You might want to perhaps mention that you cannot fully remove the logic board until you unplug the cable underneath… People need to know that they can only fly the logic board out about a quarter to a half an inch and then need to unplug the cable connecting to the machine.
Probably dislodged nib or cracked nib holder internally due to user pressure from the side. I noticed when using the pencil it is alot more prone to accidental side pressure due to the extra large tip. You could try using the replacement tip, but that might make it worse since chances are the nib holder cracked internally. (BTW, I am not the the author of the teardown article …just educated guesses on my part.)
Put it in a sealed platic bag with dry rice for two weeks.,, it will suck all the moisture out of the electronics... wrap the echo in screen if the speaker grill has holes large enough to let rice in...but you need to let moisture and air pass through, so dont saran wrap it.
After two weeks try it out... should work fine.
Once they have, you'll be able to view a graph of their reputation gained over time.
