Hi Casey, the keyboards can be replaced on these, the only trouble is finding one. I don't have any for the stealth models. It's possible that if any key is not working, it may also be board related, which does sound likely considering the cpu fan is stuck at 100%-this is caused by board issue. Sounds like the water got through the keyboard and onto the board. It's unfortunate but sounds like theres not much that can be done in this case unless you go through with component level motherboard repair and a possible keyboard replacment. I would suggest tearing it down and checking to see how much water damage there actually is. Taking pictures to show where most of the water damage was located. If you don't have access to an ultrasonic cleaner, you could still probably soak the motherboard in 90% or higher isopropyl alcohol and clean it with a brush, same goes for the keyboard, but i would remove each key individually first to clean under each one with the alcohol and brush, then putting the keys back on once...
hello Brian, a somewhat common issue. This involves corrupt data lines from the ALTERA MAX V, sometimes due to an open resistor on one of the said lines. However, there are other issues that can cause this as well. It is possible to repair, if you are interested in sending it. I would be happy to help with this or to answer any other questions you may have. -Brenden
Hello there. Let me guess, this is the 2013 or 2014 edition? Also let me guess, this is the usb port nearest headphone/mic combo jack? Usb failures are somewhat common on these. what happens is the mux fails and takes out the high side transistor causing a short to ground.(most of the time). I would be happy to repair this for you if you are interested in sending it in. I work on these devices daily. I would also be happy to answer any other questions.
what year model do you have? I have keyboards in stock for the 2013, 2014, and 2015 models with the green backlight. I do not have the chroma ones however. I'd be happy to help if you have any questions. Feel free to ask.
most of the time the battery not detected issue will be caused by a thermal resistor or thermal fuse inside the battery pcb itself, in other words a bad battery. However, sometimes it comes down to a motehrboard issue such as a clock or data line to the battery being corrupt. Feel free to send it in if you would like a free diagnoses of it. I'd be more than happy to help with this repair.
Please let me know which cable, I have some in stock here, im sure. Most common is the DCIN board to motherboard cable, it sounds like this may be what you are referring to?
@pixelperfect Hi, they are not compatible unfortunately. The early 2016 model is the first one to introduce thunderbolt, so the ports wont match up with the motherboard. The only reason I could see to want to replace the top cover with the 2016 would be for the chroma keyboard. Now keyboard only replacements are possible on these models, but I have never tried swapping out the green backlit one with the chroma and not sure if it would work. My only concern is the Altera Max V CPLD, is what provides the direct scan matrix to the keyboard and it is programmed differently between the green backlit ones and the chroma. I'm not sure how this programming would affect the keyboards light operation. Sorry for the late reply, I just saw this now.
Hello there, could you provide the full model of the razer you have? Or the specs of it, if that is easier. As for a schematic, you will not find one anywhere for any of the razer products. I repair these devices on almost a daily basis though, so may be able to help out here.

Hello, did both the keyboard and the trackpad quit working? If so, that will be requiring a motherboard repair.
