you may need to remove the plastic bezel around the keyboard, usually by removing 90% of the parts of the laptop, then follow the ribbon cable and short circuit the 4 pin where the button was, hold it for a sec.
the user data area of the firmware flash is corrupted, either restore your data/restore to factory or flash a new firmware as it checks user storage when updating.
