The project was successful the first try and took about 1 1/2 hrs (including a thorough cleaning of the phone before putting it back in the otter box. Most of the time was taken just trying to get the front open enough to use the prying tool. The suction cup worked fine, but the problem was that there's no good way to get a firm grip on the case to pull hard enough on the cup to create a gap for the prying tool. Ended up using a razor blade on the bottom to pry it open initially. The penta screws holding the case together were easy to deal with. However the the 2 smaller screws at the battery connector were a real challenge to get off and on even with the magnetic screwdriver. It seems to me that the phillips screwdriver supplied with the Ifixit kit is a size to large for these screws. It worked, but the screwdriver kept slipping on the screws, especially the smallest one. Were the screwdriver a size smaller, the screws would have been more stable on the end of it as well when replacing them.
