So, mine now works, a few problems though.
First off, my biggest issues were getting the screen cables back on and seated right. I'm not sure you need to remove the screen completely to remove batt. I'd recommend having someone hold screen at 90 degree angle while removing batt so you don't need to disconnect it.
If you do disconnect the screen as instructed, be careful to make sure all wire snap back into place before replacing cover on plugs. Also, when you replace the cover, the left of the cover needs to snap back into place. If the cover is not snapped in right, it will cause yellow on screen.
Lastly, I had to breck the cover for the battery wire. I'm hoping it stays in and may add super glue if it doesn't. The metal piece has tiny screws. The included screwdriver with the ifix it kit was to large and I had no tools to remove the screws. May need a tiny screw driver from a 3rd party. lastly, unless your a surgeon in your spare time, get a pair of tweezers to aid placing covers
