iFixit was kind enough to write an article about me and my Autism!
Take a look!
I joined in 2015 and made a lot of unhelpful answers in my first years (just ask @mayer!) But I am now a lot better. When I'm an adult I want to do something in the computer science field. I’m thinking maybe IT. Either way, I still want to go to MIT. Lucky that I live in MA! I have always been good at computers and stuff like that (and a lot of other miscellaneous stuff) My Mother even has a picture of me banging a screwdriver on a baby gate! Anyway in 2016 I built a gaming PC with the specs below:
I am experienced with Windows 10, Windows 7, Windows XP, Windows Vista, and I presume windows 8.1 and 8 are pretty much the same as Windows 10 in Tablet mode or with full screen start enabled. I like XKCD and especially the What If section.
I have various skills:
-Picking basic locks
-Making things complicated
-I've almost flipped a golf cart
-kicked a food service freezer compressor and somehow fixed it doing that
-I hate yahoo search
-I have sold 15 pounds of scrap metal
That's about it. one more: I have a very short attention span!
UPDATE: A close friend of mine has died of ALS. I am very unhappy as this happened. His name is Jepo. Please go over to the Gleason foundation and give them some money because they gave jep 10,000 dollars worth of free equipment If you donate, as iFixit says, "Aiden Baker will be eternally Grateful."
Also, if anyone has ever wondered why I call myself @CaptainSnowball meet my bird Snowball!
This is snowball. he is a diamond dove best thing is, he has a lifespan of 24 years
This thing is getting all mixed up. Oh well (insert OCD rant here) anyway I'm probably the only kid in my school who's gotten in trouble with the IT department few examples of this:
-removing dead projector bulb from my teacher's projector (with permission from my teacher)
-"hacking" into a school network using the show password button on a school computer
I like helping out around iFixit. I hope to become a moderator so that I can remove spam and other junk easier. It would also allow me to keep patrolling and moderating under control.

Answer to "What should you do if you have a Lithium ion Battery Fire?"“For best results dowsing a Li-ion fire, use a foam extinguisher, CO2, ABC dry chemical, powdered graphite, copper powder or soda (sodium carbonate) as you would extinguish other combustible fires. Answer to "My laptop shut off randomly and won’t turn on. Please help."You did say the DC jack is a bit loose. I found a replacement DC jack here: https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a...-00E1-00576 and a video showing the dissasembly of the laptop, which seems to get far enough as the DC jack is exposed. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0vfoUkIa... at 2:48 in the video, you can see the red wire. I have the DC jack shown with an orange box and the cable has a red arrow pointing to it. I’m guessing you’ll have to remove the ribbon cable to do that. right here is a guide on disconnecting ribbon cables: Recognizing & Disconnecting Cable Connectors

Answer to "Passenger side window won't go up"on page 225 of the manual (https://my.gm.com/content/dam/gmownercen...) check fuses 3, 4, 5, and 27. If any of those 4 fuses looks like the bad fuse shown in the image, then theres the issue. you will need to replace that fuse with one of the same amperage (same number written on the fuse)
Answer to "iPhone 7 Home Button Screws?"If you have a magnifying glass, try to compare them under it. Since you know you have 3 1.3mm screws and only 1 1.1mm screw, compare them to each other, and pick out the smallest one. the smallest one, is your 1.1mm.
