Answer to "Error Message: "Error Press Shutter Again""This error is normally indicative of a issue with the shutter wheel, or shutter gear. It could be broken, jammed, or the motor drive could be bad. The gear can normally be access via the bottom of the camera; it can then be lubricated and rotated a few times to prevent jamming. If it's broken, you'll have to replace the gear. If the motor is bad, you can test it or its connections and replace as necessary. Click here for more information on your error.
Answer to "When taking pictures flash does not automatically work?"The flash should automatically pop up when the shutter button is pressed halfway when necessary. If it doesn't, a quick check would be that the selector wheel is not in the "no flash" mode. If that's correct, then the shutter arm is likely the issue. There is a small cantilever type spring that actuates the arm that sometimes gets dislodged or could be broken. The shutter arm back must removed and this spring inspected. Refer to the troubleshooting guide for more details in fixing your flash here.
