Hello: Does someone know if there’s any manufacturer who builds personalized motherboards? This would be a really interesting idea in order to recycle many good hardware cases, even if they ended being a usual PC. For example: replace apple broken logic board 2011 for a new EFI motherboard (asus, MSI EFI) to keep working computer with Linux or whatever OS you prefer.
Hello: I’ve experienced the same problem. It looks it’s the rear door. Once you open and close, it allows to print until the next error message. I recommend to you to clean inside’s printer with isopropilic alcohol, a cloth and air compressed can. I’d also check how pick up roller and fusor are. )
If you read some advice recommending to use silicon oil to soft keys, NEVER DO IT!!! Ok, it softs the key, but it is extremely dangerous, because oil can generate malfunctioning if reaches conductive board. If you do it anyway, try to apply it with a brush instead of directly and NEVER inside de hole where the membrane is. Always OUTSIDE sides.
Instead of that, I recommend a small brush and in the bottom part of keys, apply dry wax (yes, the same than surfers use for their boards!) If you apply properly, keys will be quiet and smooth like first day.
