Introduction
First attempt at a tear down of Seagates 3TB External Drive.
What you need

Start at the end with the spudger

Once you have an end opened up use the credit card to hold it open

Work around the drive, ends first then the sides to open it

This is really challenging and I did end up breaking some of the clips. Its pretty hard to tear apart.

Pull the rubber screw covers off, these are mounted with a little glue and came off easily

Remove all four screws with the philips screwdriver

Slide drive out of metal caddy (do not lift)

You will now have a SATA Hard Drive and the caddy separate

From the bottom of the caddy there are two black screws

With the Philips screwdriver you can remove these

Pull the circuit board gently and evenly to remove it
