What you need

  1. Holmes 16 Inch 4-in-1 Fan Teardown, Remove Frame: step 1, image 1 of 2 Holmes 16 Inch 4-in-1 Fan Teardown, Remove Frame: step 1, image 2 of 2
    • Remove holding pin on outer part of fan

    • Pull apart front frame from back frame

  2. Holmes 16 Inch 4-in-1 Fan Teardown, Detach Motor Housing  from Downrod: step 2, image 1 of 3 Holmes 16 Inch 4-in-1 Fan Teardown, Detach Motor Housing  from Downrod: step 2, image 2 of 3 Holmes 16 Inch 4-in-1 Fan Teardown, Detach Motor Housing  from Downrod: step 2, image 3 of 3
    • Remove screws connecting the motor housing to the downrod

    • Detach housing from downrod

    • Note: Oscillation Control will no longer function

    • Remove Oscillation Control pin

    • Remove back screw

    • Remove Motor Casing

  4. Holmes 16 Inch 4-in-1 Fan Teardown, Disconnect Stator from Rotor: step 4, image 1 of 2 Holmes 16 Inch 4-in-1 Fan Teardown, Disconnect Stator from Rotor: step 4, image 2 of 2
    • Remove the four screws connecting the stator to the rotor. The top two are displayed.

    • Detach the stator from the rotor.

    • Note: the fan will no longer operate.
