Introduction

This is a guide that can be used to replace the dual multi-surface rubber brushes used to scoop up dust and dirt on the iRobot Roomba i4 Plus for model number i455220.

Before you begin, make sure your vacuum is turned off.

What you need

Step 1 Roller Brushes

Turn your Roomba upside down with the light green rubber brush positioned closest to you.

Pull the small green tab below the right wheel upward and lift the side of the brush holder to unlock it.

Step 3

Lift the light green brush first, followed by the darker green brush.
When installing the replacement brushes, refer to the bottom of the brush holder. It uses matching colors and shaped ends to indicate which brush goes on each side and the correct orientation.
