iRobot Roomba e5 Battery Replacement

Introduction

This guide will help you replace the iRobot Roomba e5 battery. If your Roomba won't turn on, try to see if it will charge first. If the Roomba doesn't charge or turn on, the battery may need to be replaced.

What you need

  1. iRobot Roomba e5 Battery Replacement, Side Brush: step 1, image 1 of 3 iRobot Roomba e5 Battery Replacement, Side Brush: step 1, image 2 of 3 iRobot Roomba e5 Battery Replacement, Side Brush: step 1, image 3 of 3

    • Flip the iRobot upside down

    • locate the edge sweeping brush which has a screw in the center.

    • Loosen the screw using a Phillips #1 screwdriver.

    • Lift the side brush up from the vacuum and keep it aside.

    • Loosen the five captive screws on the bottom of the Roomba using a Phillips #1 screwdriver.

    • Remove the bottom panel of the Roomba.
