iRobot Roomba 770 Brush Replacement

Introduction

This guide can be used to clean and/or replace either of the two brushes located on the bottom of the iRobot Roomba 770. It is recommended that you attempt to clean the brushes before replacing, unless the brushes are damaged or broken.

What you need

  1. iRobot Roomba 770 Brush Replacement, Brush: step 1, image 1 of 1

    • Orient the roomba so it is upside down and the dust tray is closest to you.

    • Locate the two yellow tabs on the screen that covers the brushes.

    • Push inwards on the yellow tabs while simultaneously pulling upwards on the attached grey cage.

    • Grab the right side of the larger brush that is located near the yellow cap. Pull upwards and to the right to remove the brush.

    • Repeat the same steps with the smaller brush.

    • Orient the brush so the yellow tab is on the right hand side.

    • Pull the yellow tab to the right to remove.

    • Remove any debris, paying attention to the ends as well as the brush itself.

    • Replace any damaged brushes.

My roomba starts and moves a foot or so and then stops. I have cleaned it entirely, the battery is fine and the wheels are clean. Anyone have a suggestion
