Prerequisite only guide to install the Taptic Engine in an iPhone 15 Pro.

What you need

1. Step 1 Transfer the plastic buffer
  Transfer the plastic buffer from the top edge of the old Taptic Engine to your replacement part.
  
  This buffer sits between the Taptic Engine and the battery. Align a short edge of the buffer with the left edge of the Taptic Engine.

2. Step 2 Install the Taptic Engine
  Set the Taptic Engine into place.

4. Step 3 Install the Taptic Engine screws
  Use a Phillips #000 screwdriver to install the two 2 mm‑long screws securing the Taptic Engine.

5. Step 4 Connect the Taptic Engine
  Use your finger or the flat end of a spudger to connect the Taptic Engine press connector to its socket on the frame.
