Prerequisite only guide to install the battery in an iPad 10.

What you need

1. Step 1 Clean the frame

  Buy
  Use high-concentration isopropyl alcohol (>90%) and a microfiber or lint-free cloth to clean any adhesive residue from the iPad frame.
  
  Alternatively, use our adhesive cleanup kit.

2. Step 2 Expose the battery adhesive
  Remove any liners on the bottom of the battery to expose the battery adhesive.

4. Step 3 Install the battery
  Slide the battery connector fully into its socket on the board and set the battery in place.

5. Step 4
  Press along the battery to help the battery adhesive bond to the frame of the iPad.

6. Step 5 Remove the top battery liner
  Remove any liners off the top of the battery.

7. Step 6 Install the battery connector screw
  Use a JIS 00 screwdriver to install the 1.7 mm‑long screw securing the battery connector.
