This guide will show you how to remove the back cover on your ZTE Maven 2 Model Z831. The back cover houses the memory card and battery. If you are having issues with your phone turning on, not charging properly, or storage issues follow this guide to replace the back cover.
Before beginning on the replacement, it is important to ensure that your device isn't connected to a power source, and the device is powered off.

Pry off the back cover by inserting an opening tool into the small space on the bottom left between the phone's cover and body.

Work your way around the phone with an opening pick to loosen the rest of the back cover.

Remove the cover.
