Introduction

This guide demonstrates a walk-through of steps needed to completely dismantle the phone in order to locate the buttons and replace them with new ones.

What you need

Step 1 Buttons

Remove the sliding back cover from case.

lift the battery and unplug the two pin cable from phone base.

Remove the two 10mm screws at the base of the phone .

Use the spudger along the edge using a firm but gentle lifting motion.
When doing this feel for the hooks that latch the phones front and back cases.

Unscrew a second set of 10mm screws to obtain access to the other side.

The front of the phone can now be placed to the side
You will notice the button covers, these display the numerical values and positions of each button
These can be placed aside as they will get in the way later.
