Introduction

This guide entails and explains the simple steps to replace the non-functioning keyboard on the Uniden Dect 6.0 home phone.

Image 1/1: Place your finger on groove, and pull directly back on the cover to gain access to the battery.
  • Locate the battery compartment on the back of the Uniden home phone.

  • Place your finger on groove, and pull directly back on the cover to gain access to the battery.

  • Remove the white battery pack from the battery compartment.

  • Remove the red and black wired port from the plug in located directly under the battery compartment.

  • Using a phillips #1 screw driver, remove the two .9 mm phillips screws on the back of the device located on both sides of the battery pack.

Image 1/1: While separating the back housing from the front, be sure to open from sides as pictured and not from the top or bottom of the phone. Doing so could damage inside cables or motherboard piece!
  • Gently lift and separate the front of the housing from the back housing using your fingers.
