Uniden D1688 Handheld Replacement

We are going to teach you how to dissemble the handheld. By removing this, you will learn how to dissemble the battery and speaker. Also, you will know how to remove the buttons.

What you need

    • Slide the battery cover off of the handset, and unplug the battery.

    • Remove the battery, and unscrew the two screws(Head Size: 4mm Length: 8.6 mm).

    • Use spudger to separate the phone shell.

    • Unscrew the two screws(Head Size: 4mm Length: 8.6mm) on the bottom shell keeping the speaker locking pin in place.

    • Remove screw (4mm head,8.6mm length) from circuit board.

    • Remove the rubber keyboard layer.

    • Remove plastic buttons from outer shell.
