  • First remove the small rubber coverings from the top and bottom of the laptop case. They are glued in place so use the tweezers to pull the disk out to access the screw beneath it.

  • Use a #1 Phillips to remove the 3mm screws located at both sides of the top of the laptop as well as the lower corners.

Image 1/3: Carefully pull the top away from the back. Image 2/3: Carefully pull the top away from the back. Image 3/3: Carefully pull the top away from the back.
  • Use a plastic opening tool to separate the front plastic panel from the back side of the top of the laptop.

  • Carefully pull the top away from the back.

  • Turn the laptop around.

  • Locate and remove the four 2mm #1 Phillips screws around the sidewalls of the display.
