Introduction

This guide will show you how to replace the battery on a Toshiba Satellite S55t-A5389 laptop.

  1. Remove the fourteen 5mm Phillips #0 screws from the bottom of the laptop.

  3. Using the plastic prying tools, go around the edge of the bottom of the laptop to release the cover.

  4. Remove the four 5mm Phillips #0 screws from the battery. Unplug the battery from the motherboard. Remove the battery from the laptop.

    • Unplug the battery from the motherboard.

    • Remove the battery from the laptop.
