Toshiba Qosmio X305-Q704 RAM Replacement

Introduction

If your computer is running slow or becomes cold this can be due to a faulty RAM or you not having enough RAM in the computer. Use this guide to remove and replace your RAM.

What you need

  1. Toshiba Qosmio X305-Q704 RAM Replacement, RAM: step 1, image 1 of 1

    • Flip your device over so that you're facing the back cover of your device.

    • Use a Phillips #0 screwdriver to unscrew the single 8 mm screw and remove the RAM cover.

    • Using the iFixit opening tools, press on the two metal pieces holding the RAM cartridge in place. Do this for both RAM cards.

    • The card will pop up at an angle so you can remove it by hand.

    • Remove the RAM sticks from your device.
