Toshiba Qosmio X305-Q704 Keyboard Replacement

Introduction

This guide will allow you to completely remove an unfunctional keyboard and install a new on by taking off the back of a computer and removing the keyboard from the body.

What you need

  1. Toshiba Qosmio X305-Q704 Keyboard Replacement, Keyboard: step 1, image 1 of 1

    • Find an edge of the red strip along the edge the computer and pry it off using a spudger.

    • Find an edge of the black cover piece around the keyboard and pry it up using the spudger.

    • Lift the keyboard up and detach the strip connecting the keyboard to the back of the laptop.
