TiVo Series 2 TCD24008A Battery Replacement

Introduction

The battery acts as an internal power source for the device. In case this battery needs to be replaced, this simple guide will walk you through the steps of removing the current battery to replace it.

What you need

  1. TiVo Series 2 TCD24008A Battery Replacement, Cover: step 1, image 1 of 1

    • Unscrew the five 0.31 inch T-9 screws on the back cover.

    • Slide the cover towards the back until it is no longer under the front cover.

    • Lift the cover up and off the device.
