Step 1 Remove bottom case

• Orient the laptop so that you can read the nameplate.
• The front two screws (circled in red) are shorter than the remaining screws (circled in light green)

Step 2 Disconnect the battery




• To avoid damage, the battery should be unplugged
• Carefully pull the plug out of the connector

Step 3 Remove the memory
• The main memory module is located under the two black foil covers above the battery
• To remove a RAM strip, gently push apart the two metal clips on the left and right
• The memory module then pops out of its socket
• Pull the memory module out of the slot evenly and carefully.
