Introduction
This guide is intended to help you replace the inner latch, which maintains spring tension in the bar that holds the print head down. If you have a 3D printer, you can get the model here.
What you need

Begin by turning off your printer and unplugging your printer so that you have full access to it.

Open the printer cover.

Open the carriage by actuating the green handle.

Remove the two screws highlighted in red.

Remove the two screws denoted in red.

Remove the screw denoted in orange.

You will now be able to remove the bracket holding the print roller in by wiggling them both out.

Remove the three screws attaching holding the assembly to the printer.

There are four screws holding the cover on: two denoted in red and two on the rear of the printer.

Once you have the cover off, disconnect the cable.

Now you can feed the cable through the hole.

Slide the sensor off of the assembly by pushing the sensor in the direction of the red arrow.

You now have access to the full assembly and can replace the broken piece.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
