Swiffer Mop Mop Stick Replacement

Introduction

If your Swiffer mop stick is broken, you can replace it by doing the following steps.

What you need

  1. Swiffer Mop Mop Stick Replacement, Mop Stick: step 1, image 1 of 1

    • Remove the green plastic from the old mop stick.

    • You will be using this part on the new one, so don't dispose of it.

    • Find a mop stick where the green can slot into.

    • You can use a stick from an older mop/broom.

    • Put the green plastic cap from the old mop stick on the new mop stick you are going to be using.

    • Drill a hole through both the new stick and the green plastic.

    • Make sure the hole is wide enough to fit the screw of choice.

    • The screw only needs to be long enough to reach all the way through, the width doesn't matter.

    • Make sure to follow proper safety guidelines while using a drill.

    • Put the screw through the hole.

    • Put the bolt on the screw and tighten.

    • Use pliers to tighten more if desired.

    • Place the end of the green plastic over the mop head and click to close.
