After using these multiple times over a period of time, the ear cushion material will start to break down and you may want to replace them or you may need to remove them to complete other guides.

      • Place the iFixit opening tool between the soft ear cushion and the hard plastic of the speaker.

      • Pry the soft ear cushion away from the hard plastic using a moderate amount of pressure.

      • There is adhesive holding the ear cushion to the speaker so it may take a little patience to remove.

      • Applying too much pressure can damage ear cushion.

These instructions do not mention anything about the fact that you need a new adhesive to make the new earpads stay. Now I won't have headphones until I'm able to purchase an adhesive.

Is there a recommendation on the replacement ear pads?

Some say glue is needed but does this depend on the replacement pads?

Works great. I have replaced my earpads 3 times with no glue. I use these MOKOS earpads from amazon. Replacement earpads for Mpow 059

Thanks for the step by step guide. I love these Mpow headphones, mostly for the controls on the right ear.
