  1. Remove back case

    • Remove back case

  2. Remove 8 Phillips screws (one in center) and 2 smaller Phillips screws

    • Remove 8 Phillips screws (one in center) and 2 smaller Phillips screws

  4. Remove torque screws on either side Remove torque screws on either side

    • Remove torque screws on either side

  5. Using a spudger remove the inner back casing by lifting the clips along the frame

    • Using a spudger remove the inner back casing by lifting the clips along the frame

    • A ribbon cable connects the back plate to the mainboard
