A faulty battery is a common problem. Your computer may not turn on or hold a full charge. Use this guide to replace your battery.

    • Locate the battery compartment on the bottom of the notebook.

    • Using your thumb, slide the release latch to the left.

    • While holding the release latch to the left, firmly grip the three raised horizontal bars located on the center of the battery cover.

    • Pull the battery away from the device.
