Sony PS-LX300USB Needle Replacement

Introduction

The Needle will need to be replaced after about 500 hours of usage. Replacing the needle after this time is necessary to maintain proper sound quality. If you are experiencing low sound quality, the needle may need to be replaced.

What you need

  1. Sony PS-LX300USB Needle Replacement, Needle: step 1, image 1 of 3 Sony PS-LX300USB Needle Replacement, Needle: step 1, image 2 of 3 Sony PS-LX300USB Needle Replacement, Needle: step 1, image 3 of 3

    • Flip the needle cover down.

    • Grasp the needle cartridge between two fingers.

    • Pull the cartridge down and towards you to remove it.

    • Angle the cartridge diagonally inside the tone arm.

    • Push up and into the tone arm until you hear a click.
