    • Lift the entire circuit board slightly and pull it backwards.

    • Lift the circuit board and place some foam or something similar underneath.

    • Now make the hole larger with a 6mm drill.

    • File smooth with a round file.

    • Test with jack plug. The plug itself should also fit in and not just the bare jack.

    • If fits! Put everything back together in reverse order.

    • If necessary, re-solder the cables.

We made it an 8mm hole instead but it works! Now the only issue I had with this old-ass headset is finally fixed. Many thanks to you, for guiding us through this very specific fix!
